Data methodology and disclosures
These notes explain where the displayed rates come from, how they are presented and where their usefulness ends.
Data sources
The graph uses a tracked exchange-rate feed. Bank Negara Malaysia buying, middle and selling values are requested from BNM's public exchange-rate API and displayed separately as reference fixings.
Values are normalized to show MYR for one SGD. Source timestamps are retained where available.
Updates and availability
The website checks for newer data on a five-minute cache cycle, but each source controls when a new observation is published. Network failures, maintenance and non-business periods can produce gaps.
A displayed value is the latest available observation, not a guaranteed real-time or executable quote.
Advertising
The site uses Google AdSense. Advertising does not determine the rate calculations, guide conclusions or source labels. TXHeng Analytics does not receive compensation from banks or money changers mentioned generically in the content.
Financial limitations
The graph, converter and guides are general information only. They do not account for your provider's spread, fees, transfer speed, tax position or personal circumstances and are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
